Exposure visit

Metta organised a regional exposure visit to Mekong Delta Region and Can Tho University from 17 to 23 March 2019 with the representatives from Yezin Agriculture University, Department of Agricultural Research, Department of Agriculture and Farmers. Metta collaborate with government department wherever possible for receiving technical support and building mutual learning. Technical support includes farming technology, seeds, integrated pest management, fruit crop management. In 2017, Metta officially collaborate with Department of Agriculture (DOA) to establish pilot Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)  with farmer. Together with Department of Agriculture Research (DAR), conduct a joint research on varietals trail and cropping pattern and local seed conservation. With Yezin Agriculture University (YAU) hosting Agriculture University Students and providing research grants to Candidate of Master Students in YAU. In this exposure trip, total of 10 participants (2 each from Yezin Agriculture University, Department of Agricultural Research, Department of Agriculture, Metta and 2 Farmers) were participated.
